Cookie management policy

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file placed on your terminal (computer, tablet, smartphone) when visiting a site. It allows your browser to be recognized, your preferences to be remembered, or traffic to be measured. Similar trackers (local storage, pixels) are subject to the same rules, defined by Article 82 of the Data Protection Act and CNIL guidelines.

Cookies used on the Site

Strictly necessary cookies — exempt from consent.

They are essential for the operation of the Site: security, load balancing, remembering your cookie choices. They cannot be deactivated from our banner. Duration: from the session up to 6 months for the cookie that records your choice.

Audience measurement cookies — subject to your consent.

The Site uses Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) to establish anonymized traffic statistics: pages viewed, paths, source of visits, devices used. These cookies ("_ga", "_ga_[identifier]") are only placed after your agreement and are kept for a maximum of 13 months; the collected data is kept for a maximum of 14 months. The IP address is truncated by Google before any storage. Refusing these cookies has no impact on your browsing.

The Site uses no advertising cookies or social network cookies.

Manage your choices

During your first visit, a banner allows you to accept or refuse non-essential cookies, with the same simplicity in both cases. Your choice is kept for 6 months; you can modify it at any time by clicking on the "Manage cookies" link in the footer, present on every page of the Site.

You can also configure your browser to refuse or delete cookies ("Preferences" or "Settings" menu of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge). Google also offers a Google Analytics opt-out add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Third-party content

Certain resources on the Site are loaded from third-party servers, which implies the transmission of your IP address to these providers: fonts (Google Fonts, Google LLC), the Leaflet map library (cdnjs, Cloudflare Inc.), and the map backgrounds on the Contact page (OpenStreetMap Foundation). These resources do not place cookies and are not used to track you. The "Route" and "Open in Google Maps" links redirect you to the Google Maps service, which is subject to its own privacy policy.

Governing law

This legal notice and privacy policy are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute and in the absence of an amicable resolution, the competent courts will be those within the jurisdiction of the Colmar Court of Appeal, subject to mandatory rules of jurisdiction, particularly regarding consumers.
